Senior Pen Pal Program

Connecting seniors with students to brighten their day during the COVID 19 Pandemic

Senior isolation has been a major problem in the past and it continues to be an ongoing issue today during the COVID-19 pandemic as many individuals cannot see or connect with their loved ones. 

The Enactus Senior Pen Pal Program was created for Seniors who are facing isolation in our community during the pandemic. Each student is paired up with a senior in our community, where they will then connect with one another by sending handwritten letters back and forth from the safety of their homes. This gives both students and seniors an opportunity to share stories, their experiences, or even as simple as how their week is going.
